* All mast electronics and lighting will be connected and tested at added cost.

Lines and fenders are to be equipped by the customer before launching. Yankee Marina reserves the right to equip any vessel before launching as deemed necessary, and to bill for said services, if the vessel is not properly equipped.

Payment of any customer balance is expected in full BEFORE the Vessel is launched. The Marina shall have the right to refuse to release, surrender, or deliver possession of the Vessel or to retain possession and control of the Vessel without process of law unless fully paid; any expenses for hauling, launching, storing of the Vessel in the process of securing payment shall be the responsibility of the Lessee. Lessee agrees that if the Vessel leaves the Boatyard prior to full payment of all amounts due, the Marina shall not lose any of its rights to payment, to any liens under state or federal (including maritime) laws against the Vessel, or to regain possession (with or without process of law) and to hold again thereafter until paid in full. A service charge of 1-1/2% per month (18% per annum) shall be added to balances 30 days past due. All collection fees, and reasonable attorney’s fees and expenses incurred by the Marina in enforcing the terms of this Agreement, shall be the responsibility of Lessee

* Our dock space is limited. Please remove your vessel from our docks as soon as possible. All truck-in boats are to be removed within 24 hours and winter storage boats within 3 days after service is completed.

* Outside contractors may work on the premises without prior arrangements with YMBY office. All contractors must sign in and have proof of insurance. YMBY reserves the right to bill a service charge for the use of the facility.

All trailers stored in the yard must be identified with the customer name in a visible location. Yankee Marina assumes no liability or responsibility for the safety of any trailer left on the Marina's property.

Maine DEP/Federal EPA regulations provide very specific guidelines for disposal of certain chemicals. No boat bottoms can be sanded or scraped without tarps covering the ground & a vacuum system collecting the dust. If any materials remain from your project, cleanup will be charged time and materials for disposal. Any left over bottom paint must be brought to the office for proper disposal and NOT put in our dumpster (bottom paint is a hazardous waste)
